God of War III Mini Review

Ok so I finished GOW3 about a week ago and have been just too busy to post this review but here it is.

GOW3 has got to be one of the most enjoyable and exciting games that i've played in quite some time. From the very beginning, GOW3 gets your heart pumping and your blood racing. The visuals are stunning, leaving almost every game in the dust as it sets a new standard of what is a true HD experience. The game mechanics are very similar and almost identical with GOW2 (which is fine by me) so if you've played the previous game you wont have any trouble picking up and playing GOW3. The story is engaging but could have been inproved a little. Looking back at the entire game from a story standpoint I realize that not a whole lot (storywise) happened. Without spoiling anything, you basically are still trying to finish the job of part 2. I would go out on the record and say that so far, in 2010, i've not played a better game. I know that there's plenty more blockbuster games coming out this year but GOW3 should definetly give them a run for their money for game of the year. If you liked GOW and GOW II then I promise you'll love GOW3.

The Pros

Controls are identical to GOW2 with a few additions (don't fix it if its not broke)
The best video game graphics i've ever seen!
Action packed.....wait it's more like...ACTION PACKED!!!!
Satisfying ending to a great trilogy

The Cons

Better have some sick days because you'll be missing some work
The music comes in spurts and sometimes the game is a bit quite
Puzzles are good but are few in comparison to GOW2 (more puzzles than GOW, less than GOW2)
Your standard for good graphics will be dramatically raised meaning the other games you have will start to pale in comparison
Your better half or significant other may become concerned and worried at your innability to move, eat and sleep after beginning this game
