Nice! I'm hoping my boss will let me off for a couple of days when God of War III comes out. :D

You have to suck up to yourself or Melissa??
I have 2 days off after GoW3 comes out. Not for the game, of course. Its time off for my wifes b-day. Just works out nicely. :D

I am currently feasting on FF13, and it is delicious. Who else got it, and what do you think of it?
You might say I'm theologically promiscuous

I'm 12.5 hours in and loving it. I've noticed a lot of designs borrowed from 7 and 8 which is a good thing.

Possible spoilers:

I saw one of the military trucks and it looked very similar to the ones in Balamb Garden in 8.
The game opening up on the train.
lots of other tings but don't want to ruin anything

^ It's admittedly supposed to be a lot like a newer version of VII -- without Cloud, of course! :o

FFVII is definitely one of the most over-hyped games of all time.

eh, I don't even feel like barking up that tree right now, but I never really felt that compelled by cloud in the first place. even squall had more personality. maybe it's the sparse collection of storyline sequences that happens between the middle of disk 1 and stretches halfways through disk 2 that made me feel that way. far too far and few between to give a passing grade.

of course, there's also the details lost in individuality that comes from the material system and other blank slates. as well as the "too late" ness that was the twists at the end(regarding zack and crap).

seriously, in the end, it really felt paper-thin.
