We've all (hopefully) seen the poll on the Game Point home page asking which system we think will come out on top this holiday season. Personally, I don't think any system has a clear advantage: They've all had price drops, New Super Mario Bros is out for Wii, and both Modern Warfare 2 and Assassin's Creed 2 just came out for both PS3 and Xbox. Uncharted is exclusive to PS3 but they don't seem to be pushing a holiday sale, and honestly a week after it came out I stopped hearing anything about it, so it doesn't strike me as a christmas seller.

My question is, which system will come out on top (why did you vote the way you did)? This is a way to fully express your opinion on the poll. I, personally, don't see any clear winner. All the major titles seem to be coming out after christmas.

(As a side note and suggestion to the mods of this forum, maybe there could be a forum category for the polls under general forums or store announcements or something. Just a thought)

I voted PS3. Most people have already gotten their Wii and 360 previous Christmas shopping seasons. They have been cheaper by a large amount over the last few years so now that the PS3 is cheaper than ever people are not going to have a problem buying it this year and adding it to their system line up. And for people just coming into this gen, there are some huge releases coming out early next year so they may like that type of games and choose to go ahead and get the PS3 for christmas so they can ask for or buy those titles in march.

Also, as far as my list is concerned, I have a lot more new PS3 titles to add than 360. Most of the 360 games on my list are pretty old, and it was hard thinking of new ones to put on it. 360 has Borderlands, the GTA episodes, ODST, and I would say a more solid MW2 experience. In game sales, I really think 360 will take the cake. Some of the bigger titles this season are multiplayer...and I'm sorry to PS3 people, but multiplayer is just better on 360.

But for system sales, it's EASILY for the PS3, no doubt. Drop in price, overall better system, and finally an incredibly solid list of titles. They've really changed a lot of previous problems I had with the system, and now it's time people are REALLY going to be wanting one.

Wii will lose, because, sure, New Super Mario is fun, but it won't save them. They're too busy being addicted to cocaine and hoarding all of our money and selling *Insert Mini-Game Here*

EDIT* Wii will lose in my mind. Of course, I've thought it's been losing for 2 years now, but it still manages to pump out sales like no one's business.

but on a serious note, I don't care. I'm not buying any, as this has been the least appetizing gen of my life, and there's next to nothing I want. what little I do want is on the wii, but it won't be til MH3 is out before I get that/.
