At Game Point we use a scale to set our trade values. This scale doesn’t shift like the wind. It’s not based on if the game is popular this week or how many copies of the game we currently have in stock. This scale is based off of the only things that are certain, the title’s current MSRP and the condition. What does this mean? For instance, if you brought a game in on Tuesday, but didn’t trade it, you could come back on Friday and get the same amount as you were quoted on Tuesday. The only things that affect the value of the game are the current MSRP and the condition of the game, not how we felt that day or the mood that we were in.
